I never heard of this before I went on line to look at the new soaker tubs. These tubs are huge, like the one you see in Japanese movies. Some have aerators, not spa jets, which makes the water boil in a million tiny bubbles.
Chromatherapy is an holistic thing in which colors affect the well-being of an individual. the lighting accessories vary. In essence, colors like blue, green and indigo purple are the calming colors versus the orange, red and others which are supposed to energize you. (This does sound better than spending hundreds of dollars a month on energy drinks that are half-caffeine and the other half sugar!)
The few manufacturers of chromatherapy lights use around 19 leds for the effect. These are installed when the tub is being built.
The colors can be set to change hue automatically or move around the tub maintaining one color. This also meant to go with the other lighting in the bathroom, music and the bubbles.
So, don't just get hung on colors get the whole package.
This is indeed very interesting! We do not have enough space for a big tub though. Can we have it installed on regular tubs too? How much is the complete package?
