What could be causing an odor from the bedroom return vent when I run the dryer?

I bought and moved into a home this summer that was built only a year prior and only used occasionally as a secondary home by the previous owner. I have noticed a sulfur-like odor coming from a single return vent when I run the dryer. (The house is built on a slab foundation and a bathroom sits between the laundry and the bedroom). I'm not sure where to even begin as I try to remedy this issue.
