I am Robert Barlak, one of the owners of LGH Electrical contractors. We found this company and meet Louis through Craigslist. He claimed that most of his work was down south and that he was looking for an electrical contractor in this (central, NJ) area. We submitted a quote and were awarded the job. The initial deposit was received with no problems. After we received rough electrical inspection we were do an additional payment. At this time we started receiving excuses as to why we could noy be paid at this time. We eventualy meet the home owner and were told that Louis has been paid for the electrical rough by them. We contacted Louis and told him we would place a lein on the house if we were not paid immediately. Louis paid us most fo the money owed minus $1000.00. We were informed that he was "tight this month and was starting a new job so could we wait a few days for payment?". We agreed to this and have never heard from Louis again. Louis will not answer is phone. Louis does not even have voice mail set up on his phone. I do understand that things happen and that we all need to be flexible. Louis never opened a line of communication he just stopped returning phone calls. As per the home owner Louis was thrown off the job. The home owner told me that he does not have a contract with me. If I want my money go talk to Louis. The home owner hired a different electrical contractor and threw me off the job. My $6500.00 loss. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this contractor.
