I have 26+ years experience in a wide range of both residential and commercial construction and have a strong mechanical and engineering aptitude. I have extensive storefront and curtainwall glazing service experience and as a serviceman have seen and worked on just about every window and door you can imagine.

I started working in the construction trade in 1984 and it carried me through college & graduate school. My passion for building and repairing things started when I was young, repairing small engines & go-carts, rebuilding automotive engines and transmissions, and becoming a jack-of-all-trades. I love to work with my hands and to do things right, even if it takes a little longer.

Through the years, I ve done everything from high-rise commercial construction in South Florida to historical home restoration in Chattanooga, TN.

My wife and kids call Wake Forest home. We did spend a few years in East Africa doing Business as Missions , promoting entrepreneurship, micro economic development, prefabricated construction, affordable small machinery, and better crop practices and returned here in 2009.

I work primarily by myself and have a short list of qualified technical friends who perform those licensed trades such as electrical & plumbing. I also utilize a few friends in the cabinetry & drywall trades.

I m interested in doing the job right and believe that quality comes first. Short-cuts always come back to haunt you and I ve found that other people s short cuts have meant job opportunities for me. And if I can t do the job, I ll tell you.
