I paid a $1950 deposit on 1/28/2020 to have a privacy fence built. This company never started or completed the work and no-call no showed and rescheduled me 4 times. Each time, I had to reach out to THEM to find out why no one came out that day.
After committing to completing a refund of my deposit in 3/3/20 per my request on 2/29, as of March 28th, I still haven’t received the credit. I’m out $1950 for work they never started.
Granted February was a rainy month, there were 2 instances where the reschedule days were sunny, only they no called no showed instead.
This company now doesn’t return phone calls or emails at this point. They also leave customers with few avenues to voice experiences like this. They removed their profile from Thumbtack so they couldn’t be reviewed and delete comments from their Facebook page. All in all: they basically took my money and ran and I don’t think I’m the only one.
I will continue to fight for consumer rights and fairness and I will continue to share this experience until it is resolved.
