MOVERS BEWARE!!!!! I wish I could leave 0 stars.

I am in process of a cross-country move with Elite Moving Partners and feel compelled to write this review. I may have written 3 reviews in my time, always to share praise, but I am writing this to hopefully save someone the stress and anxiety I've been undergoing for the past 2 weeks.

Ever since I paid my deposit for pickup, it has been a horrible experience!

I initially spoke with Christian ("Moving specialist") who among other companies I reached out to for quotes, was super fast to respond. We went over my 1bdrm apartment inventory (approx 796 Sq feet apartment) and he quoted me with a competitive price. He also said that due to a sudden cancellation on the truck, I would receive a "discounted price," if I booked that day. He also told me that my move from CA to NJ shouldn't be more than 11 days after pickup - So I decided to move out of my Apartment 8 days early to give them a head start to NJ. Christian said to ignore the contract sent stating that it could take, 5-30 days and that the average is no more than 11 days. He stated that they have to create a larger window in case of bad weather - Fine. That seemed fair to me.

What a fool I was to believe this!

I paid approx $1500 for initial deposit. When it came time for pickup, Elite Moving Company failed to tell me that they actually outsource a different company to do the actual moving/travel. They also have NO control over when this company decides to finally move your stuff. Christian also told me I could continue to pay with my credit card - LUCKILY I happened to call their Customer service number the day before and, Robin ("specialist") informed me that I would need to pay them with a cashier's check. Upon pickup morning, one of the movers looked around my apartment and instantly said I'd have to pay at least $600 more than my second payment installment quote ($1242) because they'll need to wrap my furniture pieces in blankets... I have moved several times in my life and NEVER has a moving company charged me extra to temporarily wrap my wooden furniture pieces in the used blankets they generally bring. Also, when I spoke to Christian, he told me that blankets, tape are covered in the overall cost of the move. However, since i was moving out that day, I didn't have much choice - I told the Mover that I would accept but will need to speak with Elite Moving regarding my final bill since this is NOT what we agreed on.

It has now been 2 weeks since my stuff was picked up and it's STILL sitting in a warehouse somewhere in CA. I was also quoted to pay an additional $2788 - For what??! I requested a breakdown of my bill from Robin and Jordyn several times for the past 2 weeks and of course - NO UPDATE. - Both of them are completely useless and unprofessional. I tried to call Christian back to discuss our initial conversation but he's conveniently unresponsive. Now when I call, they've transferred me to a nice woman, Nicki - However, she doesn't seem to have any further information for me thus far. I've now paid over $3K for a very small move ( I didn't even pack my bed!) and I couldn't be more upset about my experience. I continue to call them every few days for an update because nobody follows up! I am chasing down an ETA to understand at least when my furniture will be ON THE ROAD. I was told 4 days ago that they're "loading the truck" and when I called back today for an update, of course my things are still sitting in CA.

Do not ever use this company. I put a deposit down in august of 2021 for a move in october of 2021. I kept in contact with changes and finalized dates. I never had a problem getting a hold of any one up unitl the day of the move. They did not show up or call. A big factor for me was getting my daughter moved in a certain time window. I made this very clear up front. She had to be moved to Texas, I was moving myself else where so I needed to make sure she was moved. They gave me some story that the truck didn't have room or whatever. I argued with them and finally got a mover for a week later but it had to be an over night trip. Pick up Friday deliver Saturday or Sunday. There was no wiggle room. The movers were nice nothing got damaged. I had a piece count of 63. The movers finished and they had 67 pieces of which they created the 4 extra piece count because of how they repacted items. Thank god I was there because the move cost $3000 more than the estimate. I understand what an estimate is however to be that far off is rediculous. That mease I had to come up with $3000 more for whole move. Of which I had to have the next day in another state or my daughter would not get her items. I called and emailed samantha, jordan and jordon. I let them know how upset I was that the move is so much more. I went back and forth with them and was told that I would recieve a couple of refunds. One for $300 and one for $500. I recieved a reciept in my email stating they were issued however they never hit my card. I emailed and called (I called so much they would not answer on customer service side or sales side. I know this because I called right after on another number they answered and then would not answer that number again) and no response from anyone except once when Samantha stated she would look into it. I called today and talked to Jason. He stated that he was 'the' manager of elite moving partners, that he signs paychecks and makes all final finacial decisions for the company. He stated that because I filed a dispute with my credit card company on the initial deposit that all refunds are null and void because it costs money from those disputes. He also stated that there is not another single person that I can talk to about my refund that I have reciepts for that I was supposed to be issued but was not issued because their merchant had a problem. Also, that I am in violation of my contract even asking for the money back because they are not contractually required to give a refund. He had no other response. He kept an attitude and stated he was only still on the phone because I would not get off. This is february of 2022 and I am still dealing with this. He also stated that there is no president, vp, cfo, ceo or anything for this company. That he is the one that makes all the decisions. This is the first and final time I will ever use a moving company. There is absolutely nothing elite about this company. They are only here to steal. They could careless about their customers or the way they do business.

We hired Elite Moving Partners LLC to move my daughter back home from AZ to WA State after she graduated college.

First, they were supposed to arrive at 11:30am, they had some car trouble and also hit traffic, so they showed up at 6:30pm. I can certainly understand those issues may have been outside of their control. However, it took 3 men FOUR HOURS to move her very small 1 bedroom apartment, she doesn't even have dining furniture, it was very small! One of the men arrived wearing pajama pants and Nike sandals to move her, they took several 20–30-minute breaks and after one of the breaks they all came back wreaking of marijuana, it then took 2 of them 45 minutes just to take her double bed apart, once they got it apart, they put a hole in her wall with the bedframe! Perhaps if they weren't high, that could have been avoided. And lastly, they charged her an extra $240 on the spot by telling her it was over 75 ft. from her apartment to where they parked, he said it was one dollar per extra foot, multiplied by 3 men, and then doubled! That was absolutely not discussed with me ahead of time!

We were under the impression that we were hiring a professional moving company. This was very disappointing!

We contracted to move with this company. They were professional until they called less than 24 hours before our scheduled move and cancelled. They informed us they did not have another option available. They stated they would be refunding our deposit. After several weeks, we called to check the status of our refund, and were informed it would be within the week. We called the next week and were informed that the refund wasn't able to be refunded to our credit card due to technical issues, and they asked that we call our credit card company and initiate a disputed charge. They then informed our credit card company that we were not entitled to a refund. When I called and spoke to the manager, Jason, he stated that we were in violation of our contract and we would not be receiving a refund. THEY CANCELLED WITHOUT ANY OPTION. We have filed complaints against this company with the National Consumer Complaint Database and plan on going forward with arbitration. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. IT IS BAIT AND SWITCH!

SCAMMERS!!! Do NOT ever sign up with this FAKE company with FAKE positive reviews in google. We paid the deposit, followed-up almost daily when they told us to, and they DID NOT show up! We reported them to Federal, State and local consumer protection agencies. The “supervisor” named, Alina or Alisa had the audacity to call us the following day after the scheduled move to ask how things went!!! Godless!!! They will con you into keeping your deposit by claiming you just want to cancel and not proceed. NOOOO! This FAKE movers did not show up. Be warned and spread the word as we did.

Elite Moving Company is the worst moving company. Do not hire them. They destroyed my dresser that I paid $1800 for and destroy my new hard wood floor. They have no respect for your property. They demand half payment to Load the truck and the other half paid in full before they unload the truck. After I pay in full, they just dropped and banged everything all over the place. Mind you they carefully packed the furniture on to the truck after they got paid by Zelle they just threw my stuff and broke things. I am filling a lawsuit against them. As in the other reviews, they give you a low estimate then after they load their truck wanted to add $1,000 to my estimate. I sent them a list of the items to move so they knew what they were moving. The mgr. told me that my "stuff don't worth much" they can pay $200 to repair my floor and may be fix the furniture. The movers offered to buy permanent markers to fix the floor and the dresser!

This was a nightmare. Save yourself the headache, do not hire elite moving partners.

Scam- avoid!

Did not show up as scheduled to pick up items, then refused to provide a refund. RUN!

This company does not belong on a site with the word TRUSTED. The manager is rude, the sales people are pushy to get you to sign a contract and then cancel last minute. DUE NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! Not to mention the address on the contract is not even the address where they are located.
