How do I fasten luwand to my floor now to prepare for tile?

My sheets are 4 by 8 sheets some say stapes (what kind how long). Others say finishing nails. Others say dry wall screws this stuff is 1/4 thick.

If you are going to tile you should use a cement board such as duarock, and the best way to install either is liquid nail and screws.

Cement board, Hardi or Durock, is preferred for portland based thin sets. If you prefer to use luan type material, staples of 1 /4" is preferred.
