When it rains it pours in through my metal lanai door and the windows on each side around the vinyl panes. The handyman told me the screws on the metal roof need to be sealed but the roofer said no because there were panels over it and that it was leaves in the gutters. There was not leaves in the gutters as I had them cleaned out already.
Another person looked and although not a professional, thought it could be the gaps around the vinyl panes needed to be sealed to preven the rain from coming in.
I am very confused although I must admit the latter sounded reasonable and I do see gaps. I need some good advice or someone to take a look at the lanai roofing as well as around the windows and doors and let me know my next step.
Thank you for any suggestions or help. I need it done before hurricane season this year and if affordable, the sooner the better!
