Paint Problem

We painted and have splotchy places all over. Can we prime and re-paint and get rid of the problems?

Sounds like the term "holiday", meaning there's voids or unpainted spots.
About the only way to fix this is either spray the final coat(s) or if you are doing this by hand. Use an angle paint brush and push the bristle into the spots (holidays). Note: you may need more paint.
You may have to cover it either one time or maybe 2-3 times over, till it's all gone.
