My stove isn't working

Well, it works, but not that well. I can turn it on and it will either not get very hot, or get REALLY hot.
Does anyone know what the problem might be, and how much it would cost to fix it?

check the valve, usually condition like this means the switch might have a little problem. the amount varies, but try ask some professionals to check for you.
