Are all of the contractors that are listed on this site licensed?
I don't believe I was asked for my license # upon sign-up, and I just found a post that said:
"Hi Karen,
All contractors on our site are not pre-screened as we feel this only provides consumers with a false sense of security. Any credentials we pre-screen could become invalid weeks or months down the road.
It's our opinion that it's in your best interest to do your own due diligence prior to hiring a contractor regardless of the resources used to locate them.
We have a detailed guide that will assist you in the hiring and screening process located here:

Please let us know if you have any other questions. "
However, given that none of the contractors are paid for responses, I would guess that most are just responding to help consumers with questions and wouldn't really worry about false answers.
