Is there any way to hide this at all? It's a clean cut which I suspect happened when the linoleum was originally being laid. The gap's about a quarter of an inch wide and twelve inches long.
With it being in the small bathroom, you can't just pull a piece of furniture over it to hide it. Every time I look at it, it annoys me! Apart from just replacing the whole thing, could I try something else?
There really isn't much you can do with a tear like that, and chances are, it will only get worse throughout time (curling up and tearing more) Replacing your whole floor is about the only option if it bothers you that much....On the bright side, if it's a small bathroom it probably won't be too expensive to replace....Just a generic tile and $300-$500 in labor (depending on the square footage. Good luck and feel free to send an email if you have any questions
