My Garage door wont close with my remote but It will open. When I press the button on the inside wall I have to hold it down to get it to close. But I can just press it when I want to open it. The biggest problem is after I drive the out of the garage it wont close with the remote so I have to go back in to close it and then go out through the front door. Very aggravating. When I try to close it with the remote, the motor on the ceiling causes the light to flash 4 times and you can hear a clicking sound. It acts like it is starting to go down but something is stopping it. How can I fix this?

Thanks

Yes! Your garage door opener can be repaired, but depending on the age of the opener, it might in the long run be less costly just to purchase a new one. The openers today have really come down in price and are much better that old models.
