Mold removal is very important for your health as this can cause various health problems. What are the special techniques available for removal?
Thanks.
Put on a respirator, get an insect spray canister and completely cover the area with Bleach, go back an hour or so later and hand sand that area with coarse sand paper, do not use an electric sander. Take a look at the area about a week later, if mold appears again in the same place, repeat the step and go back and cut out the damaged areas later. Chances are the mold is behind the drywall at this point and will keep growing back.
When everything is cleaned and replaced make sure that you have proper ventilation, stagnant air in a damp area will cause mold to grow. If the floor is a wet area, cut the drywall 1" from the bottom of the board so it is not in contact with the floor, the drywall acts like a sponge and soaks up any water that may be in that area.
