Unlike fiberglass insulation, Prodex Total contains no itchy fibers to breathe or cause skin irritation. Unlike fiberglass insulation, Prodex Total is unaffected by humidity or water and it doesn't mildew or promote fungus growth. Unlike Bubble Insulation, Prodex doesn't lose R value over time. Prodex seals once its fastened, screwed or stapled. The polyethylene micro-bubbles do not collapse with temperature changes.

Prodex Total 48 Inch Insulation combines the benefits of reflective insulation, (R value 15.67), radiant barrier and vapor barrier. That means you'll have a cool, dry structure in summer and a warm, dry structure in winter. It is used as a stand-alone or supplemental insulation. Applications include homes, pole barns, metal buildings, attics, garages, roofs, basements, crawlspaces, under concrete, radiant floors and more. It is ICC-ES Recognized, ENERGY STAR qualified and is eligible for the 2011 Tax Credit. It reflects 97% of radiant heat (the primary source of heat flow). Prodex works well in HOT and COLD climates.
