Can you paint vinyl fence?

We are changing the color of our deck and need to change the color of our vinyl handrail. Any suggestions on how to paint the railing?

Yes you can paint a vynal fence but I wouldn't recommend it. It would have to be perfectly clean first, possibly even rough up the surface with a scotch pad, then primer and paint. I would do a really strong oil based primer.
The thing here is that it's a ton of work and if you don't do it 100% then it's gonna peel and that's gonna look like hell and you'll end up replacing it.
Maybe have a pro spray it with a marine paint (which are far more rubbery) and will not crack every time a strong wind gusts at the fence.
It's possible but it's A LOT of work!
