Anyone have a good way to keep the neighborhood cats out of a garden. The immediate thought that comes to mind is to catch them and take them to the Humane Society.
Well, you could try that but most cats aren't easy to catch without a proper trap from the Humane Society. You wouldn't want to hurt them in the process either. Cats are free spirits by nature so it's hard to prevent them wandering.
If you're wanting to keep them away from your plants, I find sprinkling pepper around the base of them helps. You need to remember to do it again after it's been raining but usually a few sniffs of that's enough to deter them.
