I have had horrible experiences with Robert McTavish. He is nearly 2 years late on the home construction project he was hired for. McTavish has very poor communication skills and rarely responds to communications, whether email, text, or phone call. It’s poor enough he didn’t tell me the house would not be completed until about a week before move in, when I couldn’t extend my apartment lease. I had to move in with family and then into hotels. Everytime we talked he led me on, saying he just needed a few more weeks. Now he’s approaching two years late on a simple project that is still unlivable and looks poorly constructed. Even the township is getting involved, complaining about the late project and poor condition. No explanation for delays in nearly 11 months. He has left me the impression of being dishonest and uncaring. I would not work with him again.
