Do not hire this company! Unprofessional, unreliable, sub-par work. Contract signed in March 2023 for an approx 700 sq ft deck. Now July 2023 and work was never completed. They would tell you they would be at your house on a certain day and then never show up. Sometimes wouldn't show up for a whole week or more. Kept making excuses that they needed to get more materials. Why? They knew the dimensions of the job. Why not get all the materials needed up front? Asked my husband for money that wasnt supposed to be given until the job was completed because they needed to buy more materials! The height of the deck was incorrect and because of that they had to replace our door to the garage. The deck had several "waves" that they had to fix. They plugged up the nail holes with the wrong color plugs and then instead of replacing them they wanted to paint over them!!!! The list goes on! Save yourself the headache. Stay clear of this company.

I feel obligated to warn other people looking for deck or home improvement services not to use Q&R Home Improvement LLC. The owner Robert made many promises on cost, permitting in our township, project length, etc. He promised he would pull the permits for the project as stated in the contract in which he never did. Robert would not even show up on the job, he always dropped his workers off and wouldn’t even get out of his truck, unless it was payday. He would ignore our calls and texts for days straight when we asked about when he would complete the project. A 2 week project took 3 months. I’m certain he was taking our money to pay his material vendors. He would ask for additional money for materials and would not show up for days. The deck is not quality workmanship. The boards are uneven and create a horrible trip hazard, there are parts missing from the railings, and azak boards are falling off already. The workers left material and garbage all over the new sod, when asked not to , killing it. We have tried numerous times to contact Robert and he will not return calls or texts. We were completely scammed by this company along with many others in our neighborhood, we’ve come to find out. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
