Microcemento is a thin (2mm) cementitious overlay that gives the appearance and
durability of smooth concrete with minimal maintenance required. This versatile product
has an artistic allure and physical properties that enables a seamless application over
different types of surfaces. Its unique composition allows for a less time-consuming
renovation as it can be applied right over existing floors, such as ceramic tiles, mosaics
or for the replacement of wall-to-wall carpets, at a fraction of the cost of traditional
renovations and without the hassles of demolition.
Microcemento may be used for interior and exterior applications. In exteriors, it may be
applied on driveways, pathways, patios, porches, balconies, etc. In interiors, it has
several applications: over tile floors, walls, furniture, to renovate all rooms completely or
create them according to your home's needs, and in offices and retail stores, given that
the material is fit for peak-load traffic.
Microcemento should be applied exclusively by trained and qualified staff to preserve its
quality. Installers can cover an average of 500 sq ft. a day. Once the first layer is applied,
Microcemento may be walked on within a few hours.
With Microcemento no joints are required, giving you complete freedom to create your
own designs. It may also be combined with decorative bands of several materials: wood,
ceramic, stainless steel, etc., then finished by sanding for a smooth look that allows for
an easy and minimal maintenance: just a wet mop or cloth, soap, and occasionally, wax.
