Ideal Air's prices may be better than the competitors, but you get what you pay for. We opened up the ceilings on our own and had the company perform the duct work. We thought they did a pretty decent job so we decided to use them again to install 2 ac units. They kept saying it would be done within 1 wk, instead it took several. No wonder since he only had 1 man working when it was a 2 man job. Finally, the ac units were connected and the owner himself came to add the freon, etc. All seemed OK except there was no air coming out of one room. He looked around and discovered it was never hooked up in the first place! So, he said they would fix it. 4 wks later, his worker came and ended up tearing 2 large holes in the ceiling before getting it right. If Ideal Air said they were going to fix the ceilings, I wouldn't be here. Instead, he proceeds to tell me it is not his responsibility. I asked him is that what he does - leave holes in clients ceilings without fixing them? He said "once in a blue moon...." So, he DOES repair holes that he and his men make! But he has refused to fix ours. We have since learned he has an unresolved complaint with the BBB. I'm not surprised. I don't recommend Ideal Air, simply because they do not leave your house the way it was when they entered. And if you do work with them, I highly advise you do NOT pay the last installment until EVERYTHING that you believe should be completed is completed.
