Do not use! I thought he was a nice man that would help me get my furniture put together but in the end it was about $$. First he charged $219 to assemble 2 queen beds & just a dining room table (did not include the dining room chairs I had already did those myself). But hey a single woman who just moved with no help I was eager for help so I found him on Craigslist ph 919 497 6174. He only put 1 bed together right & left my table wobbly & when I mentioned the table is not right he pretended to tighten them, then just said they’re tight as he could get them. I noticed some screws didn’t have the washer in front of it that would have helped stabilize the table & again I asked & he said I used all the washers & he waited for payment & still did not make the table stable. He had me sign the receipt & while I was still looking & asking about the table he just walked out the door without a word. I was ripped off!! Very poor service. Beware!!
This man goes by the name of "Anthony". Do not hire or trust this man. He came to my house to do a job. Within 30 min, he said he had to leave because he had an emergency at home. He instead called another man by the name of Earl to come finish the job but I told him to forget about it. As the previous post says, I think he may be a criminal coming to look around houses.
Handyman Sam, who actually said his name is Anthony, came to install our sink. He came in, told us he needed to get some equipment and would be back in 20 minutes. He never returned and didn’t return our calls or messages.
He’s either a crappy and unprofessional handyman or he’s a criminal that cases our houses that he’s brought into.
Don’t trust this guy!!!!
I found "Mr Fix It Handyman Services" on Craigslist on October 5 and asked to have my microwave installed. He (Anthony) installed the microwave, but not before he dropped it on my glass stovetop and broke the glass. He installed it by himself. I didn't realized it was broken until minutes after he left. When I called to make him aware of the situation, he denied it. Thankfully, I had friends over that witness the crashing sound. He asked that I send pictures, but never repaired or replaced my stove. His Craigslist post stated that he was licensed and insured, but clearly he wasn't.
Also, he quoted a price of $88, but charged $94.60 stating that it included taxes. I don't believe he's licensed, insured, or a registered business.
WARNING TO ANYONE CONSIDERING USING THIS MAN. HE'S UNPROFESSIONAL AND PROVIDES POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
