We hired Essenter Inc to replace two exterior doors on our house and install two new appliances. Upon our first appointment we were so comfortable with Mike as he was walking through our house discussing the scope of work that we signed a contract on the spot. He is professional, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. He also communicated with us throughout the process keeping us updated on the work being done and why. Before this job was over we were already asking for estimates to have additional work to our home completed. For the first time in our 10 years of homeownership we feel as though we’ve found a contractor we can call for any job big or small. Very impressed.

I hired Mike for a full basement redo for my family of 5. I love my new basement! It’s huge and also mike was great with the clean up for me! Most definitely using him again for another redo!

Mike Essenter completed several jobs for me in my East Greenbush home. He was one of the first to call me back and showed up the same evening to give me an estimate. He informed me of pricing (which was very reasonable & he lowered it to match a competitor) and educated me on the methods of repairing or replacing my roof. He worked around my schedule and stayed late to finish the job as I wanted it done before the weekend. Upon satisfactory work I decided to use him to not only do my roof but to also replace some windows and paint my back deck. At a later time I called him back to replace a bad wall, where he applied new sheetrock and even painted the room for me. I would definately recommend Mr. Essenter to anyone needing construction work done. Mr. Essenter is reliable, works quickly and does a quality job!!!

Reliable, flexible, knowledgeable, kind and honest to adults, animals and kids. Plus, clean up was meticulous and the roof was completed in a timely fashion.
I am having Mike return to paint and do carpet. He really does a great job researching the product and negotiating the cost so that he can give the best price with knowledge and quality in the job.
I am very picky and this is only the second AWESOME review I have ever written.
