I purchased windows for a room addition from DuHadway in Fort Wayne, IN and they were installed over a year ago. They neglected to add the prairie grille to the window order as was specifically discussed with Jim at the time the order was taken and paid for. The room addition windows were to match the Northstar windows that I had purchased previously from DuHadway for the rest of the house. I called them the day after they were installed. After 6 months of trying to get them to admit they made a mistake, they finally ordered replacement glass with the grilles. 3 months later I learned that they had not actually placed the order. Another 2 months later, I called Northstar corporate to determine if they had actually placed the order the second time. Got no help from corporate. Called DuHadway again and they said they have the replacement glass in stock and will call to schedule installation. That was a month ago. They called today and are coming out to install the replacement glass. YAY!!!! Never have to talk to DuHadway again.
WRONG!!!! They only replaced 5 of the 7 windows!!!! One got broken at the warehouse and the other got forgotten at the warehouse. Did they call me to tell me this? Nooo. And they think they have one ordered to replace the broken one. And the saga continues...
I suggest you never work with these people.
