This contractor failed to protect my home from the effects of a sudden and heavy thunderstorm on 7/14/2016. As a result, my walls and floors became damaged. To make matters worse, the contractor has refused to report my loss to his liability ins. co., nor has he revealed the name of said ins. co., or even if he carried liability insurance. The NYC Dept. of Consumer Affairs has opened case no. 12246-2016-CMPL in connection with this incident. I had a horrible experience using this contractor and do not recommend that anyone use this contractor. A professional roofer is, in my judgment, supposed to protect the customer's home from a thunderstorm and is supposed to carry such protective material in his van. This contractor failed to do anything of the sort. I am paying the price for selecting this contractor.
