Hired Beacons Electric to install a high voltage outside light, a low voltage outside light and correct a dining room low voltage ceiling light.
1. Got sticker shock from their price. I later learned was high, outrageously high.
2. When installing an outside light the dropped cement on a black macadam driveway causing unsightly white marks. When I called them back, their response was get your driveway sealed and that will cover up our sloppiness
3. To repair the dining room ceiling fixture they just pushed on the bulb, something I had done several times. Their comment was, I did not push hard enough. The next day the fixture failed to come on. When they came back, they soldered something. The light worked that day, but not the next. When I e-mailed them, their response was for an estimated $559 they would replace the fixture.
I would not hire them.
